Would like to enter my boat one day. I think being Australian designed and built makes her worthy of a spot in the festival even if she is mostly made from Kiwi timber.

I might pop over for that, I missed the one earlier this year.
Any idea when it will be on?

Im intending to go and have applied to have my boat there. Warana ll launched in 56, built by Jack Gutierez in Brighton and designed by Charlie Peel from coutaboat lines extended to 30 ft as a motor sailer. In the trophy cabinet at Sandringham yacht club is the Ken Howell, Warana ll trophy. Im not sure what its for as im not a member of the club.

Here she is with the bermudan rig just after we bought her in 2014

and a pic after the first round in a refit done since purchase each time she goes in the yard for an antifoul. The most recent, we removed the ageing Perkins 4108 and put in an 80 hp Yanmar. Work is ongoing on a conversion to gaff rig cutter.
