I reinforced my mast. Now instead of bending and flexing it picks up a wheel

Yep, Newtons 3rd law of physics..... For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.

So is you stiffen the mast the energy needs to go somewhere....Just a suggestion is if your having trouble try and flatten the sail by having LOTS of outhaul and LOTS of downhaul.

I was actually having a lot of fun picking up the wheel! Is it faster to keep all wheels on the ground?

That's a LOT of flex on those rear wheels. Make sure you check them for cracks......

Actually my brother sailed it shortly after this picture was taken and somehow managed to flip it over and break a wheel. I think he may have accidentally jibed it but I'm not sure, it happened so fast. I was planning on upgrading soon anyways

generally speaking - running on 2 wheels is slower due to several reasons -steering geometry, tyres scrubbing, and other tech. stuff I cant remember.

but - must admit lifting wheels is fun!

you know you are really having fun when the airborne wheel has stopped turning

or you can hold a wheel just a few inches off the ground for each leg of the tack

when you lift a wheel the sail is no longer vertical and can, because of its shape pull it down like an inverted wing. If you could add a bit of camber to your rear wheels the tyres would have less tendency to twist off the rims or twist the rims themselves when going up on 2 wheels(less sideways force)

putting camber in my wheels might not be worth the trouble at this point. I'll keep it in mind as a possible future modification. Along with countless other items. I haven't been able to control my sail well enough to hold a wheel only a couple inches off the ground. I'll work on it

BTW, I'd recommend a helmet now that you're getting moving...

Cheers,
