I would like to spend some time snowkiting,I have been kiteboarding/kitesurfing for almost 3 years and want to get into snowkiting.
I would like to go somewhere for 4-6 months thats cheap to stay with heaps of snow and snowkite everyday,thinking maybe China,Japan,Mongolia,Russia,Nepal,I have been skiing twice,years ago and have only spent 1 week of my life in the snow,I have a 7,9 and 12m kites, haress and bars and lines,would need to purchase a snowboard and boots,I could possilbe work at night but would rather not have too,anyone with any advice would be great to hear from you

Best I've found so far was working as a dishy at falls creek. Earlybird season pass, your rent and meals comes out of your pay, make sure you work breaky and nights so you have all day to kite.

been reseaching Mongolia as a place to snowkite,it has heaps of snow,is windy,has 92% grasslands around the capital Ulan Bator and is very cheap to stay,rooms in the city from $6 a night and food is cheap but its very cold in winter,may have to go in Spring or Auturm,can fly to Bejian in China and get the trans Sebrinan train to Ulan Bator

probably not might have to fork out $10 a night haha,been doing a bit more reseach,its the coldest capital city in the world but I dont think its snows there,there is a ski resort not to far from there but they make there own snow,will keep on researching,western Mongolia has heaps of snow but looks like its hard to get to and is supa remote

yes coldest capital in the world ,gets down to -49 c,have contacted some expats that live there,hope to get more info over the next few days,can get a 30 day visa and can get it extended for another 30 days and then another 30 days,Mongolia is very windy but the capital Ulan Batar is not so windy and it does snow around Ulan Batar 120 days a year

there is a ridge 65km SE of Ulan Batar where a $122 million dollar wind farm has been built,

there is 31 wind towers there ,it just started operation last month,must have consistant wind there {companies dont spent $122 mil on a wind farm if the there is no wind}and has plenty of snow 120 days a year from mid October thought to April,the area around the wind towers is open grassland with very few trees and no fences,perfect for snowkiting I think?. There is heaps of photos of the wind farm in summer and in winter,just check out windfarms Mongolia

the $6 a night guest house in Ulan Batar does have hot water and wifi and includes breakfast,can rent a motor bike and put racks on it too carry the snowboard and backpack with kite ,bar and lines,similiar to what we do in Veitnam and the North Philippines when we go kiteboarding and kitesurfing

-49 degrees on a moto, no thanks. i think its a bit different to Veitnam

yea I think the conditions are a bit extreme might go to falls creek in Oz next winter,get a job as a dishy at night and snowkite during the day
