I'm looking at a Flysurfer Psycho1 12.5mtr, and I'm after some advice on what people think of them and are they worth a look, or is the technology to antiquated compared to newer models.

Is a Psycho a good buggy engine, haven't had any experience with depower equipment but if I could negotiate cheap enough (any ideas), it may be worth holding on to.

Thanks for any thoughts

Hi JD,

I can't comment to much on the FS P1 to much as I haven't flown it, but one thing you can be sure of is that it will lift you a LONG way off the ground if you send it above you.

The Psycho is about to hit its 4th generation later this year I have heard, so unless you are getting it for a seriously discounted price, I'd be sticking to a slightly newer model IMO.

Please remember though, FS are known for lifting you off the ground, you must consider this when thinking about they style of buggying you want to do.

Ill pass this thread onto Ian Young, he is the FS expert and will be able to help more.

Cheers
Luke

Yeah Psycho1 is ancient technology - kite turns like a dog, has no bottom end and is pretty unstable.

Best options for buggying are Speed1 and Speed2. I have new Speed2 & cheap demo 5m Speed1 and 17m Speed1.5 (with mixer mod) if you're interested ianyoung@iinet.net.au www.flysurf.com.au
