I'm speaking only of Perth here from my experience over the last two/three years.

Summer seabreeze season tends to kick in around october and last until late february. During this time you can often kitesurf 5-7 days per week, often over 20 knots. Winds pick up about 2pm and last until after sunset. I'm 73kg and i split 50/50 between my 7m and 10m.

From March to June is autumn. This period is beautiful sunny weather, about 28 degrees every day but absolutely no wind. You'll be lucky to kite more than once per month.

From June back through to august is the winter storm period. Very gusty and often between 25-35 knots. Theres usually a storm at least every two weeks, sometimes you'll get out a few times a week. 7m and smaller only (in general).

At 68kg, i'd bring a 7m and 10m or a 6m and 9m, or something thereabouts.

Well, I was in Northern QLD this Year from June through to August. July there were a couple of windy Days, but usually combined with **** Weather. End of August two weeks in Cairns and nothing at all.
Maybe I was unlucky, some locals around Cairns said it was one of the worst Seasons, but well does not seem to be very reliable then.
