Hi Guys,
I'm a complete rookie in this sport. Just got my new gear a few days ago, 10.5m Liquid force Envy 2015 and an Axis inferno board.
Wanting to go out tomorrow at Applecross. Weather looks to be from 17-23knots.
Just curious as to what you guys think of this?
Is it too strong of a wind for that size kite?
I'm 74kgs and this is the first time I go out without an instructor
Cheers

easterlies are probably not the best to be going out and learning . Don't go to applecross in an easterly either

Depending on how well you have your kite skills dialled and if the instructor taught you how to de-power your kite. The wind tomorrow will be blowing from the south after lunchtime.
What are you like at climbing trees ? :)

Ended up going out with the 10.5... Wind was howling, full depower and I was still being pulled along. 2/10
Ps. Is it normal to see some of your lines fraying when you are up and running?
