Had a look down mullas earlier today two guys out about 1:30 struggling with the lack of wind on there 9&10m I decided I would nip back and get my gear ( 12m) and try to have a lazy sesh , got back down the beach just before the 25knots kicked in I just lay flat on beach full depower and was still getting lifted up in the air
Chose the simple option pack up and go home , just checked SB charts can't believe I picked the craziest part of the day

Off the water not long ago. Smooth 19-23 knts. But agree bit of a lottery. As always in winter.

That whale carcass smell was a bit annoying though.

Rig up smaller and play with different boards?

yeah was definitely a strange day wind-wise yesterday. What most kiters don't realize is that 2x the wind speed = 4x the power or lift in your kite. So yesterday when it went from 15 knots to 30 knots you would've felt 4x the pull you had in 15 knots on your 12m, scary stuff!

Winter is for cardio, weights, and mountain biking. Build up the Stoke for summer once again. Different sport in winter!but I do wish we had the same swell in summer
