So much NW this year

In Perth do we normally have so many squalls that stay NW the whole time? I feel like they normally start NW but then swing round to WSW or even SW.

Used to get winters like this 20 years ago. Maybe part of the natural cycle

It's certainly been fun riding at waves toeside and then doing heelside spraydowns on the wave face! Goofy footers must do that all summer long.
