Hi,

Can anyone recommend a decent Physio in Perth for knee injuries. I have seen Brett Robertson recommended in 2008 but can't seem to find him.

Any ideas greatly appreciated, would love to be sorted in time for the return of the doctor!

If you are north of the river, Robert vander Kraats! He is a sports physio who works with professional athletes and us normal blokes. He sorted my back out in no time. Next Generation Physiotherapy - Greenwood and Ocean Reef.

Do yourself a favour and see a reputable sports doctor first. I've wasted a lot of time and money going to physios first. Being misdiagnosed, trying this, trying that (then end up at sports doc). Physios are not doctors and limited in their capacity to properly diagnose and refer. Sportsmed at St John of God, Subiaco is a good start. Costs more than a physio or GP per consultation but will save you in the end and have you on the correct path from the beginning. The way I see it, if you need treatment by a physio, a sports doc will refer you there with an accurate diagnosis for effective treatment. You may instead be referred to a surgeon or occupational therapist.
