Most reliable sea breezes normally only start by mid October in Perth... In the last 5 years in Perth there has been between 7 and 15 days of 15knots + winds in October, and 90% of those were past mid October...
With most airlines allowing extra oversize baggage for cheap I don't see why you wouldn't bring your own gear... But if you're only here for the first 2 weeks of October and you don't head up North WA you might be disappointed.
To my knowledge no one hires kite gear anymore in Perth, but I could be wrong
Thanks for that information, I'm only there for two weeks which looks like it could be a bit hit and miss lol. Anyway I might just have to risk not using my gear, better than kicking myself when the winds up?
