Looking that the map, Ledge Point looks good. Has anyone kited there that could give me some tips on good points/bad points etc?

Ledge is a good spot to kite,water is generally flat. Now and again a small wave forms on the reef when there is a bit of swell. Reef can sometime be shallow and sticks out on low tide.

Main beach is quite small but safe enough to launch from if no other beach users are around. Left of the groyne there is enough space to be away from everyone,just be careful of the few cray boats that dock up and you will be fine.

Jump in at Ledge. Tell your missus to pick you up in Lanno when you've used up all your allotted time/credit points.

Went to ledge yesterday. Really enjoyed it. Was a bit of a tourist attractions at one point. Came in alongside a pod of dolphins which was pretty cool.
Thinking about lanno today... Christmas kiting! Loving it!
