I was sailing (windsurfing) in Shoalwater today and heard a kiter had been injured there this morning and taken away by ambulance.
Can anyone confirm this... and how the sailor is... and how'd it happen?

No kite accident. Lady slipped over and did a hip injury.
Some poor bugger got his kite caught in the fence while carrying it down the track.
People would have seen the kite tangled and the ambo and assumed the worst..
Must admit I did at first.
