Hi all.
I have an airush 7m which deflated slowly whilst flying. Soapy water identified the leak to be below the inflate nozzle. Ie seems from bladder to plastic inflate nozzle base.
Who is the airush repairer in perth these days.

we are the Airush dealer in Perth. From your description, It seems like you have a pre-2015 kite (separate 9mm inflation valve and 11mm deflation valve). We are unfortunately sold out of 9mm inflation valves but we have the 45' strut valves in stock in case you need them here: www.kitebud.com.au/product/adhesive-replacement-valve-45-one-pump-for-airush/

This 9mm valve is very universal (not specific to Airush) and any kite repairer would have it in stock.

Keep in mind that you may soon have to replace all your valves as eventually all your other valves will peel off or break. This was a problem with all pre-2015 Airush kites as back then the valves were glued on instead of welded to the bladder. The pre-2015 valves were also less resistant to heat and UV which eventually makes them crack or break off. These are no longer issues with post-2015 Airush kites.

Will take your advise on board. It is infact a single inflate deflate valve on the lithium, so still some issue has occured and will investigate further.

can you post a picture of the valve leaking with soapy water ?

Unfortunately no photo but the attached image identifies the source. The kite is a 2017 lithium.

I see, leaks are a rare problem on these valves but it could've cracked over time and would need to be replaced with a stick-on Boston valve.

Pretty sure Ryan (The Sail Doctor) has them in stock, contact him to check. He can also provide the installation service for you.

Save yourself a big headache and pony up for a new leading edge bladder. Wash out any sand or debri from inside the LE bladder with a hose after you remove the old bladder, and before you put the new one in.
