G'day fellas,
I'm contemplating driving up from Perth to spend the WE at Coros this Saturday (15th Feb) and Sunday.
Hoping to enjoying good waves and strong winds.
Seabreeze at Geraldton (Coastal) seems promising:

However Coronation Beach (Surf Spot) not as much:

Temperatures seem very high as well.
I'm calling to the locals to check whether it's worth the trip or not!

Thank you

hey, I'm not from Coro or Gero, but looking at Windy.com the weekend forecast looks a little dodgy. That cyclone might mess things up a bit. You might want to leave it until Friday to make a decision.

Basically you'll easily get five six kn + plus more south of Gero because of shadow and ley of land as you have probably allready found out

Also there will be more swell but the chance of it being clean is very unlikely unless U get it early or v late due to longshore drift in this region which has basically changed alot of that area since brilliant sessions there over a decade ago..and it's not really a place to mess up there unless U stay south due to the shipping channel
Otherwise just use a bigger kite and go further up..

And as Brendan said that forecast screenshot is messed up due to the cyclone

Goodluck
