Hey guys
I'm travelling to WA mid february for a few months. was hoping somebody might be able to give me some tips on a few things.

1st of all i don't have a driving licence so i'm limited to public transport/hitching so need to know the best place to base myself

only really into wakestyle so would really like some flat water and not really bothered about waves (although i will surf if there's no wind!) heard safety bay is good for flats, anywhere else?

Any other general tips or advice on WA would be much appreciated

Cheers
Simon

Hi Simon,

Check out this B&B, I live opposite the kitesurfing and windsurfing spots in Safety Bay. I took all the pics for the B&B and know Alan and Vicky well. Alan is a keen windsurfer but many in our group both windsurf and kite surf.

Contact Alan and discuss a possible long term arrangement, his house is only a short walk from the beach and they have a couple of bikes. The new train service to Perth is also easy to access as the bus goes past Alans place quite close. Its faster than driving. There are heaps of kitesurfers in our area and lots of flat water spots within walking distance.

Cheers, Bob Dunlop

Check out a few of my kite surf pics on this site, most taken outside my house. My id is 'rdunlop'

dude thats looks awesome! however I think it might be a little out of my price range! I will still contact the owners and ask about longer term rates cos it does look like an amazing spot.
really appreciate the help and any other tips on WA would be much appreciated
