Full details here www.transport.wa.gov.au/mediaFiles/projects/PROJ_P_Cycling_Network__Plan.pdf (see pages 19 and 20), but it's in the WA Transport Plan.

A bridge joining Point Walter to Point Resolution has been mooted as early as the 1920s.

Until cyclists start paying rego, I cant see them spending that money. - Well I hope not.

Hate to tell you Underoath, but the rego fees we pay don't go towards the construction of roads.

Dare say most of the cyclists that frequent that area pay a fair amount of tax though.

By that logic, pedestrians should pay a pathway tax to fund sidewalks and paths...cyclists help to remove cars and traffic from the road, this would help to remove cyclists from the road. I say its a double win for drivers...

I would say most cyclists and pedestrians have cars...........therefore already pay rego

Im not a cyclist but I'd sure like to see more bikes on the road than more cars......never see any cyclists clogging up the right lane

Peeps just need to chill and and drive around the cyclists.......what....... did you just lose 15 seconds off your journey time lol

"never see any cyclists clogging up the right lane"

Go to Applecross early on any fair weather morning.

No double lanes but over-run with lycra clad tossers taking up the whole lane
