Hi , my friend is travelling to Melbourne this week . We are unsure if the forecasted westerlie is suitable around the bay ? Should we bring the gear ? Thanks

yep anywhere south/east side of the bay, brighton to frankston all ok just remember it will be cold compared to Qld

st kilda is doable in westerly but you'll be tacking the shoreline
