G'day Seabreezers, Rosebud Yacht Club are opening their doors to kiteboarders. About 500m meters from the grassy patch where kiteboarders normally launch is a yacht club right on the beach! We are excited to be partnering with the Yacht Club to offer our members access to very reasonably priced membership with the club. It will mean that you can gain access to the club all year round at your leisure and on those cold wintry days in Rosebud make use of the clubrooms and facilities including the hot showers.

There is a Kiteboarding Open Day planned for the 26th of May, the bbq will be on and there will be an opportunity to sign up to KA/ KBV and the club from 12. For those who are already KA/ KBV members you can join the club on top of your membership at a reduced price. From 1 o'clock we will plan to either hold twin tip races or an expression session depending on the wind conditions followed by a post session beer in the club rooms.

UPDATE:
Due to the light wind forecast on Saturday and the great forecast on Sunday. We are moving the Kiteboarding Open Day at Rosebud Yacht Club to Sunday May 27. The forecast is looking great, 15-20 knots increasing to 20-25!We plan to meet at 12pm for a bbq and registration and then have twin tip races and/ or an expression session from 1pm *subject to wind conditions. There will be giveaways and prizes for all that compete!We hope to see you down at Rosebud Yacht Club for a classic Northerly session at Victoria's premier winter location!
