As there isn't many of us into kiting in the North West yet I thought I would make a group on Facebook so people can get together and go for a kite,discuss conditions and beaches etc etc. Would be cool to organise some kiting offshore maybe with some waves or island to island downwinders.With my working roster I often find myself keen for a kite on a weekday but with no-one to go with. Kiting alone on a deserted beach is dangerous and not as fun as having a few fellow kiters around. So if you live in Karratha, Dampier, Wickham, Point Sampson or even Port Hedland add yourself to the group. See ya out there.

Damn, i'm over in the East Pilbara. I fly home to Perth every second week but not to much wind these days. How is it along the Pilbara coast this time of year?

This time of year isnt too bad. Not the best but not to bad.Get a kite in every couple of weeks. Normally get easterlys in the winter and westerlys in summer. Plenty of different beaches to kite on with either wind direction. No need for a wet suit either :)
