Hey,
Has anyone been kiting in Madagascar? I was thinking of going in September for a month. Renting a 4x4 and self driving around the island. Visiting Anakao in the south west and Babaomby in the north east for kiting. Any advice or tips would be highly appreciated. And let me know if keen to join!

I did it 10 years ago in the north. Totally worth it ! The wind is insane probably 90% at 30Knots and more.
At that time not so much accommodations so we commuted everyday by pirogue to Emerald sea (Babaomby) but I preferer the Sakalava spot ...

Good to hear! I will try to do the south and the north. Hopefully Lavanono and Anakao then up to Babaomby. Is a pirogue a boat? Did you hire a vehicle at all?

Yep Iv done Madagascar, went from Tana, north, rite up the coast!!

very slow going in a 4x4........ finding a self drive is really hard btw and even harder to find fuel
