Theres 1 dude that's super rude ! You get what you give . ![]()
I look before I jumped and cranky arse went off !He was only on his return run too ?![]()
Either way kiters are allowed to kite there .We share shearwater and will share the train .![]()
We must share and respect each others way of doing things .And we all love the flat.![]()
The train looks like a good place to rig[end of Smith st] , would you give us a launch ? lol![]()
I love it busy ,it matches the traffic.![]()
Have a great weekend ![]()
Yes of course ill help you launch your kite, i help the kiters at shearwater so i wouldn't i help you at the train.
I think Jas71 is the nice guy that sails . does front rolls and flairs ? If so cheers bud .
Thanks dafunk, i wish i could do front rolls and flairs, to old and broken.
See you an the water and happy sailing ![]()
because of the speed gained behind the bank for a run up at the little ramps at the end of the bar near the moored boats, I'm all for reversing the right-hand rule at the train - but i suspect i'd be the lone windsurfer wanting that
a "can windsurfers please sail the circuit in reverse at Cranky Bank" poll could be held in the qld windsurfing forum!! - ooooh how controversial ![]()
and i just felt a little bit of wee come out
Hi Haircut, I think we have been confused. I believe there just needs a little less agro and a little more understanding from both sides, there is plenty of room for us all to chase ramps and speed sail, but abuse and anger just makes the gap between the two sports wider.
yep i'm always confused
if EVERYBODY looks behind themselves before doing a boost / turn / gybe / jump etc. to make sure all is clear, and no one is intentionally trying to jump over me, everything should be good.
i was told the right hand rule is an official maritime yachting rule, is that correct?
i see the appeal of hugging the bank in the opposite direction for the kites as it makes for a better boost at the houseboat end than the seaworld end
jas - was your "i" meant to be "why"?
I try an go by maritimes 1st rule and not cause a collision .![]()
Some rules are meant to be broken , to have fun .![]()
