Can anyone recommend a wave kite that has atleast some lowend. Im only worried about decent lowend and good turning with decent drift. We get alot of side on with mediocre wind waves no point breaks(Florida). I need an 11 i can start around 15 knots and a 9 or 8 at 19 to 20. I do alot more whipping the kite around but also.need it to drift when im.setup or dropping in. Im riding Cabos and the low end is just so bad. I was obv thinking 2013 reos but I want to hear what the minimum wind people can go upwind with them. Can anyone rec anything else I dont need an 11 that can fly in 11 knots just want something reasonable. Im 180 lbs or what something like 82k.

Try The BWS Noise Pro , best drift out there and extremly good low end.

I am 79k can ride my 10 pro with SB in 17 knts plus and easily downwind at 15knots , the pro 12 from 14 knots upwind.

Great build quality and best wave kite out there, does ride well freeride .

Board choice makes a huge difference.

I was using my 8m Reo in 15 knots, going upwind fine, with the BWS Drifter surfboard. At 70kg. Using a smaller board and I need my 10m.

So one size kite may work for someone on one board, but not for another on a different board. Take a look at the North surfboards:

5'5 Nugget has 32L volume
5'8 WAM has 22L volume

--> Massive difference in volume! Not to mention the major differences in rocker and concave of these two boards!

Any of the wave orientated kites will be fine for whipping around and drift. If you want low-end just choose your board appropriately.

Consider the 2014 Drifter range. I had the 9m out using an F-ONE Fish 5'6" in around 13 knots.

+1 for BWS drifter great lighter wind board.

For me 90kg 15+ kts, 9m Method 2 and the BWS drifter is a nice combo.

With the right tide, 12+ kts, 11m Method 2 and the drifter or normal high volume SB. Guys I've ridden with that are about 10kg lighter use 8 and 10 2012 reos in the same conditions.
