Has anyone used them, then thought they sucked, gone back to straps?

im still in the process of deciding...

on the one hand, they give you a really nice direct feeling of control over the board that you dont get with straps. its also good when you come off and dont have to body drag to recover your board.

the negatives - getting them on and off is a bitch in really cold weather, they make my toes go a bit numb after a long sesh, and in choppy conditions my feet get forced further into them making my franken-toes stick way out...

anwyays, ive got a board with bindings, and a board with straps, so its best of both worlds really

i went back to straps...
i went from 2 boards with bindings, full on wake lace up ones and unions ... and wakestyle m80 kites and only did tricks with kite low etc....

to riding same 2 boards with straps, and now im riding high aspect nemesis kites and waroo bows and loving it...

some days i do miss the boots tho, once your used to them it gives you a bit of confidence to tweak everything a little more...

and its a pain in the arse having to relearn all the tricks... i cant even do simple wake stuff in straps yet :(
