Hi all,

Just looking for some opinions from those like me that love twintips on waves.
I lost my LF Drop 130 last week and that board was just unreal on the waves and chop... well, at least for me it was.

Since then, I tried a few other boards but none gave me that feeling of being 'surfing' the wave.

So, what are you guys using out there....???

THanks!

What about the Shinn wave board. I did a huge downwind on it few weeks ago and it was great. feels like a surfboard but can ride it both ways

Airush hammer is definetly worth a look, heaps of guys dig them. Sweet through the chop, big fins, round rail, smaller tips etc., really fun to ride,
Thanks

Try a Jimmy Lewis Rad F, definite surfboard feel in a twin tip.

Just spent last we in Geraldton, at Coros testing all the coronation board range in the waves, the swell was 3.5m so I was told. My preferance turned out to be the 128cm x 39cm Carbon pro, wood/ herex core this is a sweet board,
G- spot in Geraldton have got one now to demo, or just check one out at Hold the Line, Wembley.
In combination with a 9m Waroo 2007 realy nice, I cant see why a surfboard is any more fun in the waves around Perth

Hey Thong, I had the Hammer and should have held onto it - thinking of another actually! The Toxic wave is great in the surf, but really only on the waves, where the hammer was good on the flat aswell, great all rounder that was sweet in the waves!

Fingers crossed there will be wind tomorrow and we get back beach on?

Naish 2008 SOL,

infinite outline, and progressive flex make this board an amazing ride. Especially in the chop and waves. With the Wood core, the board has energy and life, it delivers drive and pop with out slamming your knees, and loves waves. Don't get this board mixed up with other wood core boards, this is a vertically laminated Poplar wood core, same as high end snow board construction, the wood core is not there to separate laminates, it's there as the actual life of the board. I strongly urge you to demo this board before making up your mind.

Regards,

JB
