hey its been about 3 weeks since i picked up my new xbow3 and underground flx 132 and im only just getting to write this now because i wanted to try it in a couple of different wind ranges to see how it preformed .. honestly all i can say is wow.

first day i took it out was saturday about 2 weeks ago weak as a mofo wind maybe 8 knots. Now probably my biggest complaint with the xbow2 was when it wasnt windy and you fully sheeted in or went unhooked the kite would stall and eventually invert if you held it in to long. So i thought i would see what the bxow3 did. unhooked full power on and it just sat at the top of the window no problem for over a minute i was amazed so now unhooked riding with out having to depower the lines is possible yay.

The next day i went out was that sunday, same as the city to surf .. whcih i missed to kite :) now i dont know if anyone remembers but it hit about 30 plus knots at times.. i only had my 12 metre xbow and was stupidly anxious to take it out. so i was at cott set up and luanched was FULLY powered obvoiusly do i depowerd the strap hit the knock of catch thing and had to fly it at full arms reach.. any less and it picked me off the ground :) the kite flew AMAZINGLY at full depower i was seriously doing some of the biggest jumps in my life. this was the first time i actually felt serous G-force as i jumped this kite had so much power but control when i needed it to, im not going to speculate on how big i was jumping because i think i will probably over exagerrate but believe me it was huge. I had to stop after about 2 hours because i was just plain scared of how high i was getting.

this saturday .. i went to margaret river.. now if anyone saw the charts wind not that crash hot... waves over 6 metres... after constant complainging from my girlfriend that she didnt want me to kill myself i managed to convince her i would be fine .. in the box any who knows what the box is .. well i dont know how i convinced her that ;) the waves where huge and to tell you the truth it was a bit silly going out .. and i was the only one out again even surfers didnt go out ;) i got my ass handed to me by these waves one i tried to jump over and well the wind wasntr strong enough and i hit the face of the wave and got really slammed. so obviously i was pushed forward flipped around i was thinking **** my kite has to have fallen and its not going to be easy to get it back up in this surf. to my utter amazement after about 20 secs of underwater fun i popped my head up there was my kite fully slack lines flying easily back into the window ... there is no way my xbow2 would have done that.

So wrapping it up this kite is stronger heaps more power more control and slightly faster than last years model.. plus they look a heap better i would reccomend this kite to anyone that came and talked to me.

dude if you can afford the xbow3 buy it.. like i said its more stable easier to ride unhooked more power and more durablility .. i went through a xbow2 that kiteaddiction very very nicely replaced for me you iwll seriously notice the difference
