Looking to buy a waist harness, I was thinking of the Mystic Warrior,North Styler or the Liquid force. What do you think is best, and what are the advantages and disadvantages on these harnesses
The best harness, it's the one that fits your body shape and feels comfortable. Although the flying objects flight control is worth a look(has straps to hold the bar down). The Mystic ones look quite good but havn't had a chance to try one yet. Thanks Matt
Fire starter is narrower on the side then the warrior, and is stiffer in the back. More support but both are different shapes slightly. best bet try them on and see which one feels the most comfortable. You'll always be wearing the harness so best to go comfort over dollar, and most expensive isn't always most comfortable.
i got the 07 Naish Diamond and that thing is comfy! i never feel sore after long sessions or anything, the bar actualy pulls into the body of the harness and it doesnt ride up and push into your ribs. Definitly check that harness out
I've got a Warrior and love it. It was worth the extra money because it was a present, but since it was from my wife, technically I had to pay for it anyway..... I got shafted again.
Definitely nice and comfy for me but you'll see the common thread is horses for courses, try 'em all on and see what you like.
The ginger one from chanted. Shes got the best waist. ERRRRgo, any harness on her is the best, no?
Joking aside, my hips and your hips are not the same (unfortunately for you) so every harness will sit differently. You gotta try them all hanging on a rope. For me the Dakine tabu is the shiznit, good value, super comfy and has lated ages. My only gripe is that it can rub on the top of my hip bones slightly. More cakes please.
sounds like i better start trying on a few more harnesses. I tried on the warrior last week it is comfortable but still going to try on a firestarter and naish to see what there like.
Id recommend one of the Liquid Force Luxury series harness. there bloody wicked comfy and dont slide up or down. They look great and they have awesome padding/protection on and around the spreader bar to prevent injuries. i got slammed chest first onto a sandbank when i was learning from about 2m in the air and luckily i only lost my breath while trying to pull the pin.
