I changed to the Ion B2 Board shorts harness a couple months ago and love them. Plenty padding but not much material that soaks up water.

Dakines Vega, are the best I've had, and owned most brands, some of the shorts harness have crap spreader bar positioning, but love the quick release tension buckles on my ion set, but spreader bar doesn't feel quite like it's in the best spot compared to dakines, downside with the dakines is they're light in manufacture and 2 seasons if lucky, but relatively cheap in comparison to some, but definatly the best I've had

Dakine vega if you want brakes on your ass.
With wedgie.
Dakine Nitrous if you want to bounce straight back up after a butt check.
No wedgie.

I have been using the Pro Limit Pro seat harnesses for some 6 years now and upgrade very 2 years to the new model. the harness looses some of its comfortable support but is still very safe and serviceable. I have had no problems with the straps or buckles during this time. The latest spreader Bar cushion set up is great, as for weight it does absorb water but this is negotiable.
Comfort level is great, with at min of an hour each session with no discomfort.
If you PM me I will send you some photos of how I have set mine up for maximum comfort re leg strap.

I went thru 2 pro limit seat harnesses in 12 months. Both times the strap broke mid air, both times the importer didn't want to give me a replacement or refund. Had to threaten legal action for refund. The Vendor said they were designed for big air stuff
