hi, i'm going to get either a 9 or 11 meter rev, i ride flat water mostly (basic wakestyle) ride a lunacy 129 and weigh about 73kgs, i may well have it as a one kite quiver, wind ranges from 10-30 knts. anyone got any figures for the low end on these kites, cheers for any help.
p.s i have a 15 meter fuel which i would keep if i got the 9 but ideally i would be riding the rev from 15 knts upwards as the gusty frontal winds in the uk make the limited depower on the fuel scary

Have a look at this topic:

www.seabreeze.com.au/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=31411

It has a few different sizes etc. discussed as well as my own stats regarding my 11m Rev. It might give you a better overall idea of the Revs.

Cheers,

Fozzy

The 9M REV would cover you pretty well from 15 to 30kts. I am the same weight and I will change over from my 13M REV at about 16kts. I doubt that the 11 would get you the full 10 to 30kts you are looking for.
My choice would be the 9M - sweetest kite ever made - and keep your 15 Fuel for 10 to 15kts. Surely the gusts in light winds couldnt be all that bad
Oops - sorry - I forgot you did say you were in UK

i totally disagree with the guy above me. i have one 11m rev and is perfect when the wind starts to blow. i look at people on 9s waving it through the air and just shake my head. get an 11m. i would even get an 11 over a 10...

cheers for the advice, winds aren't so gusty here when they're light its more when i'm on my smaller fuels, it does oftern go from 10-15 knots to 25+ in about five mins tho.

I just got a 11m rev great bottom end was up riding a noble skim board in 12kts by 15 kts i can ride my lunacy havent found the topend yet but would probably be 27-28kts have riden up to 25kts and not been overpowered and still had some depower left if your goal is to only have one kite get the 11m. will suit most conditions the 9m would strugle in low end grunt but top end would be in around 35kts+ saw one out today in that much.

cheers for all the advice, nearly got the 11 but then went for the 9 and 13 instead, unfortunatly getting new kites means theres no wind.
thanks again, looking forward to useing them

Great decision bluerocket. You wont be sorry Im sure.
Same as mine months ago and I havent regretted it one little bit.
Definately prefer to be on my 9M if at all possible, but hey its a smaller kite so thats just plain common sense.
I used to worry whether or not I had the best kite/s possible. Now I dont care. If someone has a better one than my REVs thats great for them - Im sorted & loving it.
