Have a bit of dignity Leo. First you trashed Axis (who treated you SO well) on Facebook and now you're bagging Ozone? Shows your true colours mate.

If you put your kites through the same combine harvester that you use for your sentences then you can expect some trouble and not much sympathy.

However if you have another agenda then you can expect even more trouble and less sympathy.

Crew round here didn't come down in the last shower.

^^^ The question is not still on. The REOs are fine. The original poster is foolishly pursuing a vendetta that I suspect will only come back to bite him.

Don't feed the trolls eh.

Hey guys i. Left Ozone becouse i was looking for a Company that want not only sponsor me with gear but also will promot. Me as a international team rider using my images, and will help me to go to over seas to wave. Comps . Also will use me to test the new models . Ozone alredy have his main strapless rider and never used any off my images or promot as a team rider. As you can see on the ozone web site and videos they alredy have some one that is t o good and no space for me

From this thread: www.seabreeze.com.au/forums/Kitesurfing/General/new-video-at-wanda/#1483435

Maybe it was nothing to do with the kites but more to do with the above? Seems like a cheap shot to me..

No Ozone love nor hate here; just keeping it real.

Does seem an unusual post from a sponsored rider who Haas now switched brands. PS. No issues with my 2012 Reo, or cat or c4 or my 2010 edge. Dang kites keep going which means it hard for me to justify replacements.

Not all one way traffic guys, big advert in kiteworld mag full page spread of a guy smashing a wave on an axis board , hyping the board and brand, unusually the isn't a name for the credit to the rider, and that rider is Leo,

No guys that is just the honesty true about the kites .
they are really good but not strong and durable
They really need to work On that.

jeez you don't really sound like someone a brand would want to touch.
FYI my reos are going fine.
From what I have seen the heavy beefed up kites tend to wear quicker than lighter well made kites so hopefully ozone are smart enough to not listen to your ideas and stick to their current formula

Well the lighter they are the better the performance. The more robust they are the heavier and thus less performance.

For my style. Lighter with more performance is better.

Sounds like you need to search for a brand that has the right mix of robustness/performance for you.

What a load of crap! My Reos's are in great condition and I use them as much as anyone. The kites are amazing and keep improving each year as do most of the top brands. In fact I'm on the third generation Reo now and I still see my originals out there in tact, and those guys were basically beginners and rode in the surf.
Choose equipment that suits the environment you kite in, for me it's only waves and the Reo's are awesome, I've never had an issue and I'm happy for anyone to look over my equipment that I've had since last October --- there's NO ISSUES what so ever.

I've dropped from a 4 kite quiver to 2 kites this season. So my 2014 reos get more use than ever. I've owned 10 ozone reo's since they were released. I've never had a single failure or tear. (This was the same with the dozen cabrinhas I owned prior, not a single problem). So I don't agree with your big brand comments. The only upkeep I've ever done is to replace the elasticised bungey every 6 months with the spare included in the bag, and keep the inflation washer clean of sand. I've never had a rip in any of the kites ( touch wood), even though I do a lot of self launching & landing. Always aim at getting assisted launch and land if I'm travelling and on a coral reef. If there is a failure in your kite(s)? and they are under 6 months old as you say, then your warranty has you covered so no drama! Failures do & have happened with every brand on the market. As stated in above posts, the kites perform great at this combination of weight, and robustness for me. Kind of like a lightweight sports car, and maybe you may need a 4wd for what you are doing.
With all respect, I think maybe some of your comments are getting lost in translation. Make sure if you want to promote yourself, you are surrounded by the 'right' people.Being a sponsored rider or ambassador for a brand is more than just performing well in the water. Keep ripping & ride your own style and path. Always look forward to watching your videos. I wish I could be as light on my feet as you.

That was not a review dude. Not once did you talk about the kites performance characteristics. Just let it go man, nothing good will come from starting a topic like this with whatever intentions you have.

Mmmmmmmmm as freeze would say! Your going to have a hard time finding another kite that rhymes with your name. Hope that kitesports decal on your board is above the glass, because you may looking to peel that off in the future!

Dude, there is alway room for more than one strapless dude. You need to earn it man. No company is going to just throw you up there without you showing that you've earn in. Start small, work your way to the top of the Australian sector then try and join the int. team. Get some quality edits. You rip but check out the top dudes for other brands. Keahi De Aboitiz throws everyone on this plant out of their chairs, Matchu Lopes has the style and skills of a king.

Check this edit; It's an incredibly well edited neat and tidy clip, the riding is insane and he personally makes for a good person to fly the flag for the brand.

Just as much as the riding, the rider need to have the right attitude and be personable. Some guys are on the equivalent salary of 1/2 a mill/yr who aren't even that good at riding (obviously still kill it but, aren't the best in the world) but know and understand their job and absolutely kill it at their JOB!

After that comment above I think you might struggle to find a sponsor, no matter about being the international face of any company.

My thoughts anyway.

Why are you all humouring this idiot? [abuse moderated]. As for the 2014 Reo's, they are a huge leap fwd from 2013. And they were a great kite!
Does this bloke even surf the waves, or just do his TT tricks?
