looking at changing boards from ug flx am looking at nobile boards whats the t5 like for a freeridestyle board whats it like in chop and are the pro pads any good
LethalLeigh, The 2010 T5 is a great all round board. A very direct, predictable feeling board. Great early planing, great upwind, handles a wide range of conditions. Due to the flatter profile, there will be a bit more spray coming off the board in sloppy conditions. If you are a more advanced freestyle rider and want a loser feeling board, the 2010 NHP will be your best choice. The 2010 IFS Pro pads are very comfy and a nice upgrade from the previous years. The riders that have tried my board with the new IFS pro pads are very impressed with how cushy they feel!
Hi Steen, In reality the NHP 2010 can be used and really appreciated by a wide range of riders levels and riding styles whether hooked or unhooked. To make the board feel less loose, just go for the 55mm fins. Fin sizes offered by Nobile 55, 45, or 35. For some riders they may get more out of the NHP just because it handles choppy conditions with ease... Dont get into the thought that you have to be a hot shot handle passer freestyler grom to appreciate the NHP. That is where I think the marketing for the NHP 2010 has potentially hurt sales in that it seems to give the impression that this board is for hardcore freestylers when in fact someone mowing the lawn (riding back and forth) could hugely appreciate this high performance board as it is so forgiving. In many ways the NHP 2010 is like a sports car... It can be used for cruising in the city, or given full throttle on the open country roads... in both cases the user will have a big smile!!
