My Comments:

first i brought a naish custom fish 5"8 , this board works really well its lose , fast , and very slashy in the waves .

now going back to my post im looking for a new surf board \ kite board round about 6"0 or 6"2 any recommendations ?

ideally i want to board to kitesurf but also want it to paddle in on when the surf gets good .

this is going to be for strapless riding only

i was looking at the waiman passport or the gambler i know the gambler is 5"10 but it keeps a lot of width in the body .

any ideas ???

all the best daz

wasnt sure what section to post this in but i guessed this would be best as the comments are going to be board reviews

Hi Daz,
I don't have much personal experience with a board for both surfing and kiting and the selection definitely depends on your weight and surf ability for a board that would do both. Either way I would say that any of the boards in the Tuflite range would be your best bet especially pricewise. Maybe the JC SD3, Byrne TC 6'1" etc...

Good luck

5"6” – Speed and Versatility

Designed for the widest range of conditions the 5"6” is the most popular in the range. Three fins to offer snappy turns and vertical off the lips. The 5"6” is a great option if you ride in a variety of conditions.

5"10” – Power and Style The most aggressive board in our range. It comes in tri or quad fin set-up, your choice. Only ¼” wider than the 5"6” the straighter outline in the tail of this board provides endless grip in the turn.

6"0” – Pure and simple The tri fin set up in the Duke range the 6"0” is for the purists. This board isn"t a fish but the increased width maintains your speed even when the wave isn"t perfect. Fully closed bottom turns, vertical off the lips and hard carving cutbacks come as standard.
