thinking of a new 9 meter kite to update my 07 Rebel am more than happy with my 12 meter Cult. Should i expect the 9 Cult to perform similar to the 12 but faster?Or is there something else ? maybe Ozone edge 9 meter?

My advice would be to stick with the brand/model you currently enjoy riding....

go a 9mtr cult... theyre a great little kite, yes heaps faster.

I have a 12mtr Helix, and bought the 9mtr kite only.. using the Helix bar and lines.

so you save enough bucks to make the purchase worth while..

Its always better to not mix kite brands/styles in your quiver, so if you are happy with your 12M Cult then get the 9M.
If you are not entirely happy with your Cult and are thinking of changing out of it as well, the yeah maybe look at the Instinct Edge2?
Packs more punch than the Rebel, but it still an easy kite to fly, however I reckon the 9M Sport2 turns faster and with more power in the turn than the Edge2 9M.
