Hey mate,
I just recently bought a 06 Shockwave and love it. The depower on them is incredible, and as far as inverting goes i've never really had that problem. I use a 12m and it produces alot of power and has a massive wind range. I've riden it from 10knots to about 26knots and found it very safe.

I know you were after info on the 07, but if it's anything like the 06 model i think your on a winner.

Hey,

The 2007 Shockwave is a good kite, I was testing it in the UK with Ben Meyer when he popped over. The bar can be converted from a pulley 2:1 to a 1:1, this eliminates the bar pressure but if you sheet in fully the kite will over sheet so not good when unhooking. To be honest the best SLE/BOW on the market at the moment is the Cabrinha Switchblade 2. She handles like a C kite, has no pulleys on the bar but has all the safety, 100% depower, instant relaunch and one pump.

Pete, go and check out the North rebel or the Torch, the shockwave is a good beginner/intermediate kite (lots of depower ; good for the surf, not so much freestyle), you are way beyond that my friend you are a sick rider who needs the best possible equipment. Do a search on northkites.com for the rebel, also check out kiteforum.com for comments on all new kites.
