As you can see,no one is replying !Have you not noticed how quiet its been? No one is posting about it out of politeness!

The kite did not meet the hype.In fact it did not seem to go as well as a normal kite. Some had trouble just flying it.
The demo kites were released all over the World,and I have seen only 2 positive reports,both from dealers.

The manufacturers are now claiming that the kites were inferior prototypes,but that the production model will be much better.
The production kite has to come from a proto,so ??????

And no,I am not affiliated in any way with any brand.

everyone is now wanting to buy Breast Kites by ample bosom ltd....by far superior to anything...

We have not released anything except hype, no-one has seen these miricles, and we have made millions already on back orders.
This kite business is totally radical..........

Whether the kite has low end power or not, atleast they have sourced a better material. Kite material is such crap at the moment. Its part of the reason any new kite feels so good.

Before you all get on your brand bandwagons, I don't even ride Best and infact I prefer another brand.

All the brands talk up the new kites and make huge claims.

We are all capable of making our own decisions, some of us don't need the industry views and/or politics.

The forum is supposed to be no-commercial.

My advise is to go a fly it and decide yourself.

i agree - new kites shouldnt tear clean in half after crashing, or get holes all over them after brushing over rocks. "rip stop" is a joke.

common sense tells me that if the americas' cup, and sydney to hobart racing yatchs that have millions spent in R&D each year can't develop an indistructible material... well best can't either... I'm sure that you won't go letting other people rub your shiny new hellfish on some sharp rocks, or try cut it with some sharp razor fish ... cause that will only validate that fact that every1 with brains really allready knows.

bests own PR machine that is actually very good at talking bull%h1t and getting people to belive them havn't even made the claim that the material is indestructible.... as far as i can tell... the material is claimed to be ten times stronger for the given weight.... the kite is 70% lighter and it's not all made out of the material... which points towards them useing kite material thats around 10-15% the weight of current "obscelete" materials, to get the same strength, ie not even an increase in strength... and from some reviews, there havn't been any great performance increases...so y not make it weigh 100% the weight of a normal kite, and acutally be 10 times stronger if there worried about it ripping in half .. there's best logic for you!, and the price would be 10 times as much aswell

You got that right, cause I'm not going to let you try cut a kite that I/we want to try...

What I have asked for is a sample of the cloth to do exactly what you have described though... To me that sounds a beter idea do you ?

Incorrect, the kite is made out of cuben fibre. Each different section is made in different weave layouts.

get your facts checked chop chop before you go slagging off products... or may be we should start slagging off you beloved Fone's... Oh thats right we dont stoop that low...

no worries... I'm not affiliated in any way with f-one... but getting a sample to destroy may make best riders feel better about spending 2 g's, my point was in response to the comment about ripstop being " a joke" , I think that best will actually need to make the kite as heavy as a normal kite, ie; 10 times stronger, for a large noticable increase in strength
