Best one I've tried would have to be the North Style, the mystic warrior(i think thats the model) are also meant to be decent,
Thanks

06 Lf harness froths. 05 is alright, bit stiff though, its simple and durable.

don't rate 05 or 04 stylers, spreader bar pad is fkn junk as is the strap system, inflation is a gimmik (on the air styler). Just not a comfy harness. (havent tryed 06 but it seems much the same, same crap bar pad)

Tabu is ever reliable can't go wrong with it. The top and bottom tightening of the spreader bar i like. Better than the pyro (havent seen or tryed 06 though!)!

Yeah the 06 lf harness looks almost like a mystic and is way comfy to use.

Mystic Harnesses!

They are generally the most comfortable that I know of. Of course i'd recommend you try on as many as you can because everyone is different but the Mystic Warrior and Darkrider have an extra strap that comes around the front and through the spreader bar. If the harness is fitted correctly the extra strap ensures that the harness spreader bar does not flip/invert and dig into your chest. It also helps to stop the harness from sliding higher up your chest. I dont know of any other harnesses that have this strap. The North Styler is nice but I dont think it is a strong as a Mystic and I think the Mystic is gonna last longer. The little airbag thing in the North Harness makes a great woopee cushion effect.

hey on the top of harnesses....
if i come down hard unhooked,if im on my back the water goes down the back of the harness and flicks it out so it acts as an anchor, which in turn digs the spreaderbar and pad hard up under my ribs and 9/10 times im left gasping for air in a lot of pain...

im riding an 06 LF waist harness, its always done up tight and has the spreader bar pad on and secured at all times...

does this happen to everyone? im sick of it :-(

Some waist harnesses are bigger and offer more back support and comfort and they also scoop up more water when ya on ya back. If you look at alot of the top unhooked riders ...they use smaller waist harnesses that are not so tall in the back. These harnesses must provide maximum mobility for doing all the unhooked moves. They are probably less likely to act like a sea anchor when you are on your back because there is less harness surface area scooping up the water.
www.mysticboarding.com/ Go and look up the Mystic Waist Harness - DRAGONSHIELD specifically for the unhooked rider

It would be interesting to see what everyone else has to suggest?

Yeah have a look at it Rhys it's pretty Bling bling. This harness offers alot of freedom and mobility and it's very strong.
