I have had a pat love cast and currently use a cabrinha deluxe harness but both end up under my armpits. Is there a harness that doesnt ride up thought about the liquid force luxury 2 or mystic warrior II.
if anyone uses these please let me know what they are like or any suggestions would be good.

Mine rides up mainly after boosting . It is a dakin by they way. I think our propblem is they dont make them for fit weed shape people .

I have had success with the mystic and now the flying objects - the flying objects has to be one of the most comfortable harnesses I have ever worn!

I don't know if there is a waist harness in existance that doesn't ride up at least a little bit, especially after repeated boosting. However I tried a few last season after suffering the same problem, and ended up buying an Ion apex harness. I am very happy with it. I also find that wearing a cotton t shirt instead of a rashie helps as there is more friction between you and the harness.

Hi Nick
I have a mystic warrior 2 and that rides up after about 10min on the water ,i tighten the bugger up as tight as i can get it and it still rides up, my bar end up out at full arms length and becomes uncomfortable as hell.[}:)]

I think i might need to invest in a seat harness.

It probably depends on body shape and kite flying technique but I love my FO aswell.
I wear it really low so it actually sits on my hips a bit and it just stays there.

I use a Liquid Force 2010 Luxury harness find i dont have any trouble with it, i mainly use it when im in the surf. I like how it will swivel on my waist for toe side but does'nt ride up under my arm pits!
I also have a Liquid Force 2010 Comp & dont like to use it when in the surf because it does'nt move a bit, as stated in an above post after alot of boosting i dont think there is a waist harness on the market that won't ride up a bit other than a seat harness. i find when i use my Comp (which is not very often, i like the surfing side of the sport but when its flat i like to have a boosting sesh ) it only rides up a bit but does'nt really bother me. Another good tip is to wet your harness straps before you tension it up, especially when there new, not sure why but it works for me.

Good luck i hope you find what your looking for!!

Give Padi of Surfconnect a call thats where i got mine @ a good price, STOKED! PM me if you want his contact.

My Ion Hummer seems pretty good. What you are wearing has a huge impact. Just a rashie and it will ride up. My Strike Wetsuit is made for kiting and has really grippy neoprene on the harness area so it stays put really well.

I'm in no way affiliated with ION. I paid full price for all my stuff but I like it alot.

sounds lke ur harness is too big if its up under your armpits... or your guts wider than your chest...

the LF range are super cushy and good quality but a little pricey.. i found the patloves worked well personally but I am using the 2010 Flying Objects harness (not the felix the normal one)(got from Westozkiteboarding in rockingham) and it is comfy as anything, doesnt ride up and after a season of near daily abuse doesnt show any wear so far. Much cheaper than the other ones that hve been mentioned as well. Just make sure you dont get the one with the neoskin thingy hanging out the sides, make sure the edges are the ones with the rolled over and stitched up edges.

previously i had a naish diamond, LF luxury, catapult harness and the FO is definitely holding the best value for money at the moment (quality & comfort vs price) but the LF was by far the comfiest of the range I've owned (mine was model from few years ago)

Ocean Rodeo Harness would seem to be your best bet as it is a hybrid between seat and waist.

I have the same Harness as you. I wear it loose and it doesnt ride up at all.
So maybe it is something to do with body shape.

I had a Pat Love Quest, no hassles with it riding up, sold it in Fiji to save weight charges on the return trip.
Use a Warrior II now, also no hassles and very comfy now thats its worn in well. I also use the Jaybar sliding spreader bar hook, which helps to stop the harness riding up, as well as making toeside riding a lot easier.

Ocean Rodeo session 2, tried six different ones before buying mine. Best most comfy harness on the market. Never rides up.

Flying objects do make very comfortable harness but I think the one thing they are lacking is the extra strap that the mystic's have that go from the bottom of the harness up over the spreader bar and back down that seem to keep the harness in place help with riding up, I currently have a Flight controll and they are really very comfortable, but am looking to get into Mystic Shadow next summer....... My only problem is I am between a 32 and sometimes a 34 ;) so when you have a harness that is too big it will also ride up easily.........

I have had two mystic warriors and never had a problem, but I don't fly my kite high, which makes a difference.

Everyone is different and what might work for one, doesnt work for everyone,it helps if you get it fitted when you buy it and try more than one.
