Anyone have any knowledge of or experience with Gaastra pure kites ? I have been recommended one as a first kite, but can see almost no reviews on the internet.

hi, the pure is a C-kite shape. so this would be a pig to relaunch unless your a very seasoned rider ot have very strong winds. however gaastra kites are very good and the 2015 range is out. take a look at the spark 11m or the Toxic 12m from Gaastra kites. Spark offers super easy flying and auto relaunch features so start with this one. the toxic kite is faster and offers a more agressive style but not so easy to relaunch as it luanches from mid of the wind window.
