My Comments: gday just looking for any unbiased feedback on the above 2 kites. im pretty new to the game (1 yr) and am finding it difficult to decide which way to go. im unable to test either as i live in the country. looking for a kite to ride little waves when its too strong for my 9m. any info on build quality, usability or anything else much appreciated! cheers

Hi,
I've owned both kites for a while, you can't go wrong with them. Both are excellent.
For a strong wind, I'd go for the 6m renegade though, I think it's safer and more forgiving.
I love the Jeckyll too, but it's a super fast kite and requires a bit more technique, particularly with a small size.
Plus, I had bad experiences with the gaastra bar (2010). I broke the plastic ends on 2 different bars (then you can't do much, except getting another bar...) and the depower strap is very hard to pull (plastic balls at the end). I didn't really care at this time, but I wouldn't recommend this bar for a strong wind kite.
