Heads up....sensor3 bar issue. The reinforcement material on the safety line at the Y split wore through after 3 months use. Would jam the rings if the safety activated. I stripped off the material and tested the safety. Worked ok. I'm pleased i spotted it before i had to use it in high winds. Will keep a close watch on the line wear till i get a replacement. Any advice appreciated.

you reckon that that sh!t would be sorted before they release a new bar.......especially at a cost of 900 shackles.

Exactly. Surely the team riders who ride harder/longer then 99% of the population come across this **** while testing the gear. From all accounts this wear happens fairly quickly.

I'll never forget going back around the xr2 days. One of the local core fan boys snapped two of his core bars, and I mean literally snapped in half. If that's not German engineering I don't know what is.

There has been a technical issue with some of the Sensor 3 bars that have reached the market in the recent weeks.

That issue is excessive wear on the covered SSF rope. Our investigation on this subject is in full swing, and we have only found isolated cases of excessive sleeve wear. Given a large number of Sensor 3 bars in regular and demanding use worldwide, there's been minimal feedback about the powerline sleeve. However, we are talking to our line suppliers and will get to the bottom of this.

When it comes to safety, there's no compromise at CORE. An excessively worn SSF powerline sleeve must be replaced immediately. Therefore, we'll send you a quantity of fully compatible and proven powerline sets from the Sensor 2S free of charge to help your local dealers. Replacement is easy with our step-by-step video instructions corekit.es/sensor3-powerline-replacement. Furthermore we will service all consumers directly and right away that reach out to us in this matter.

A damaged SSF powerline sleeve does not render your safety system inoperable. A safety system with a damaged sleeve continues to operate safely as a two front line system like CORE used for many years on the Sensor 1 and 2 bars. However, we still recommend replacing any abnormally worn sleeve.

On behalf of our entire team, we apologize for the wear on the Sensor 3 bars, and we will do our best to make it right.
