I've invested in and investigated quite a few different bars and the Ozone for me is the best. Lots and lots of bars including Switch ,Ikon, OR,Cabrinah etc etc are utelising a generic 'white ticket' chicken loop assembly which I believe has design problems with the saftey line path through the rotor head. This can result in punchout problems.
Conversely the Ozone chicken loop head has a dedicated channel and snagging of the safety line is virtually impossible. Additionally Ozone is the only bar I have found that has an appropriately large enough hole through the bar to discourage binding of the bar to the pu covering on the main chicken loop line.... all the others I've tried bound when cracking hard/looping.
The above relates to upto 2018 models... for 2019 Ozone have a new design which I have not tried, but is similar to North/Slingshot etc design
The 2018 V4 bar is using the same bar design as the 2016/17, with the same thickness black PU centre line and same nole through the bar design/shape, so definitely no binding on tight turns/loops.
Ozone have chosen not to put the flag out line through the centre line, after a couple of years of testing various designs they were no happy with the increased thickness of the centre line and the complexity and issue with trying to make the flag out line work without the possibility of jamming. I'm really glad they stuck with the external flag out line.
Yjer swivel on the end of the flag out line has been beefed up, this is a part that wears and requires maintenance though, same with the flag out line (every V4 bar now somes with a spare flag out line).
In my experience, the Ozone bar is one of the most reliable and comfortable bars to use. All parts for all versions are still available too.
