hey dude. i havent flownt the convert but i have owned the xbow 3 and the new warroo. To give you an honest comparison the xbow 3 having a 2-1 pulley sytem its pretty slow and un reactive. but plenty of grunt good if you just like to park your kite and ride. Not so crash hot for unhooking seemed to just bog down when ever you loaded up. then half way through the season i swapped to the waroo. Great kite to compare i used the 11. its so much more responsive you have a good feel for the kite plently of jump, still preforms when its unhooked. Im really glad i made the change it progressed my riding heaps.
So in a nutshell
Waroo : fast moving good feeling kite, good jumps good unhooking. Harder to relaunch, in lighter winds you have to do the old 4 line tecnique of swimming towards the kite to get it on its back. and its not a 1 pump but for 1539 for a 9 metre brand new its cheap too
X-bow 3: slow but steady will give you more loft than height in your jumps, dont really reccomend for unhooking. Easy relaunch and 1 pump system but your looking around the 2k mark.
hope this helps good luck mate
ps. if your looking for best your dealer is choice www.choicekitesurfing.com.au amd yes i work for him but those reviews are my honest opinion if you want the xbow its windurfing perth. www.kiteaddiction.com.au and daniel or reg are your guys
Thanks for your views (ultimately helping my decisions) Its a tossup between a cab and best, if I work hard maybe a cab + best, thinking cab for a 9 and best for 12. At this stage would like to update xbow3 to 4 ids ie faster turning and safety improvements and progression for I. Enjoy the waves ! Like the Convert too (sold as user friendly), but not many reviews/feedback on seabreeze so far.
Waiting to see what comes out with new seasons best and cabs together with some reviews.
