Cab lines are good, SS ok, Flexi. crap..............help!

Thanks Steve. Yes, I'm looking to replace the flying lines on my Flexi Ion2, 10.50m.

I only need the 25m lines as I never ride 20m.

I find the Flexi flying lines just crap....too thin and this slows me down when setting up. I find the thickness of both Cab and SS lines easier to use.

I could not find the Q-Power lines on your site (or does Ozone use Q-Power?)....which set of 4 25m lines do you recommend me to use?...let me know and I buy.

Got my new lines within 48 hours of ordering online at Kitepower. Professional and great service. Now, let us hope that these Ozone lines give me some joy too.

I've been using the Q Power Pro lines for about 3 months now and find they leave everything else for dead.

Upsides:
*They have zero stretch or elasticity compared to other lines
*They now come in Blue, Red, and white for color coding
*They can be set up to any length
*Their tested breaking strain is WAY bigger than anything else on the market.
*The new pro lines are really easy to wind off the bar compared to normal lines.
*They virtually do not wear and probably hold their strength 10 times longer.

Downside:
*You have to make the line lengths up yourself. It's really easy though because all you do is tie a larks head in the end.



The old q lines were great but they tended to kink which made them really annoying when running your lines out. The new pro lines are actually kink free and easier than standard lines to run out.

The lack of give in the lines I've found tends give me a really direct responsive feel on the kite. It's also nice not having to replace them every season.

The other lines I'm comparing to that I've used in the past are Ozone, Cab, Best and North. Out of these normal lines, I always liked the Ozones the most. The Best lines (havent tried the 09's) in my opinion are absolute rubbish.(Although they do make nice kites).

Ozone lines are 360dan, which is equal to approx 750lbs!!
Breaking strain is not reduced by knots to form the loops, the ozone lines are sleeved and sewn with kook proof ends built in.

Q-Pro has the highest tensile strength (lowest stretch) for sure, but Ozone are right up there too.

Hey Kusu,

Can you tell me the cost per metre, I have a old bar with a 5th line, front lines are are single then fork out into two.

I am looking at 20m backlines and have to calculate the front lines minus the bottom of the Y.(the length of the forked part I need)
