Most kites in the last 2 to 3 years are good including the kite you have, it should still be reasonable - but nothing beats the feel of having a new kite.

I have tried a few different brands. These days I use Griffin Argo and am now loyal to Griffin due to good service back up from the Australian designer and kite performance.

So key would be select a kite to suit your stage of development, use and Australian back up/support.

Most kites are good on flat water however only a few excel in surf - Griffin Argo works for me.

U cant go past North Rebel for allround good and safe as bar or Cabrinha Switchblade for primo kite!

Yeh Briskites are right.

Everyone will back their own kite brand. Otherwise they wouldn't have bought that kite in the first place.

My 5 cents? Try Griffin's they alway blow me away how good they are. Slingy are tried and trusted too. But just demo a heap of kites. You may not like the kites I like.

More of the same. Go to your local kite shop demo days or call in and ask for some advise. If you are riding Cab's you will be used to a certain style of riding, so like Briskites said, have an open mind. At the end of the day, your level of riding, the conditions you mostly kite in & what your goals for progression over the coming season are will have a lot to do with best kite choice. Your shop should be able to talk you through a few recommended options. Then demo them & make your own choice from there, be wary of testing too many kites, your mind will boggle.

I ride Vegas & love it, but George rides F One Bandits. We all have different styles & likes with kites so narrow the search down & then test them.

Hey Glenn as others here have said don't be afraid to try something different, I am constantly amazed that people stick to the same brand of kite year after year, I have been on a different brand every year and I don't see this season being any different, despite the fact that I love the kites I was flying last season and am still currently flying.

Sometimes it takes a while to adjust to a different kite but you never know when you might just find something that suits straight up.

Keep an open mind and take up an offer like KH's to demo, demo, demo.

Typical...... I bet you haven't even tried a blue one have you.
