This has probably been done b4 but I'm looking at getting some bindings and a suitable board. My other board is a 128 underground flx so I'm used to a lighter board.

I don't mind so much if the boards not underground, anyone have any ideas?? I'd prob want a 134 or 136.

Cardboard Tempo. Don't use boots myself but mates do with their tempo's and love them.

Hi Sonya,

the Xenon LaLuz and Infra are great with Bindings. you will be able to try them with boots in Alva.

UDG Steeze or Cab custom. both designed for bindings. I think Naish do one aswell.
I quite like riding the 136 custom but havent used boots. But the steeze looks the goods to me!

Get a proper proven shape women wakestyle board and don't bother putting binding to freestyle board: LF Bliss 134x41 + Melissa CT

Cabrinha custom, LF Influence, LF DLX, Slingshot Darkside, Naish Momentum (only the largest size), Cardboard Tempo are the ones I can think of offhand.

there USED to be kite specific ones because the insert spacing on kiteboards used to be 6.5inch and wake was 8inch but now its all 6inch provided you buy 2010 and up.

to be honest here, coming from a dude that's ridden pretty much every wakestyle board, (from slingshot wakeboards to flat noodle kiteboards). you won't want to ride a real wakeboard.

ive been on my wakeboard this summer and always find its just that tiny bit too slow for what i want, you want to look at a decently rockered kiteboard.

you want something a tiny bit stiffer than what you ride now, and you want to go a few cm bigger. for a girl like yourself maybe a 134 would be fine.

I would look at Cardboard Tempos. or the Best Profanity, Wainman Joke, LF concept or influence.

in regards to bindings, OT vs CT its all personal preference, go to your local wakeshop and try them on, i like CT it feels like i have more control with them but its all up to you. PM me if you want more details.

Any reccomendations for a good wake shop in Perth? Boots are pricey so buying sight unseen seems stupid.

Dont know about the LaLuz? for boots - its more an all rounder. But the Infra would certainly make a great fit. Wide stance already set and a build suited to flatwater freestyle.
Woodys has one lonely Infra left on our clearance sale list. Check our site for details.

Correct. If kitescoop is to be believed, the U2 (kite specific) don't have the extra lace attachment point through the bottom of the ankle that the Ultras have as well as a different lining.

Supposedly these are to make them easier to get on/off but the ultras are pretty easy on and off.

not sure but it really wouldnt surprise me. the old Unions vs Ultras back a few years ago was the same thing, the ultras were stiffer and had more support than unions.
