I am 16, around 65kg (but still growing) and i am just starting kite boarding, i want a board that is good for a beginner but that will also keep me entertained for a while. Any ideas on what kind and size board i should be looking at?

what kinda conditions do u ride mate? choppy flat surf etc?

check out the north range.. the jaime, cross ride and youngbloods are pretty good boards to start out with and they handle choppy conditions pretty well and are very smooth to ride..
Cesar Mallory are pretty advanced and harcore boards might lok into them later..

um or you can look at underground boards, everyone seems to think they are really good freestyle boards and if you get one it should be pretty good for overall freestyle riding..

Airush line up.. you got the Switch which in all honesty is a pretty decent board mate, its soft flex so its really smooth n comfy in the chop and its pretty bomb proof.. they ride well and i suggest you should check it out, it will last you for a while until you start getin into serious unhooked tricks..

all in all i suggest you try the boards out.. try the crossride/xride from north, and the switch from airush and something in the underground FLX range, they are the best to start with

sizes look for something around 128 - 134 long by 38 - 40 wide.. that range is pretty decent over all for a board, for your weight it will be harder to edge up against a bigger board then that.
