the knots are good for fine tuning; i hate pulling on depower to unhook, with the knots you can set the kite up to fly perfectly unhooked without having the rope flying around/hitting you in the face ect especially with its hard plastic end.
or if your not into unhooking then my set up would piss you off as your arms would cramp up from pulling in the bar all the time to get the same power as you would normally with the more comfortable arms extended.
No need to fiddle with the knots, they are so close together anyway, it makes a beesd1ick of difference.
If you unhook, then trim approx 5-10cm off the trim line, just unscrew the self tapper screws in the black knob and feed the silver line through, screw the self tappers back in and trim it off - voila, no dangling bits, to bother unhookers.
Like someone else said, what you do today will cahnge next week due to line stretch, get used to using the trimmer at the c-loop, and only adjust it when it gets too windy for a comfortable riding position.
I was out on the shop 11M demo last night, in approx 25 + at times awesome jumping and upwind machine. Had the centre line trimmed in approx 12cm, and rode like that for 90 mins, just sheeted out on the bigger gusts or on transitions or landing jumps.
