Hey, so just been drooling over all the gear on the Switch website.

Would love to buy a complete new set up, kites, bar, and board.... however better not get carried away.

My kites still have a little life left in them (and I really like them) so think it might be time to upgrade boards from the old FLX.

Has anybody tried out the MJ pro? Its only about $500 brand new, so would love to hear how it goes.

No I am not a Switch team rider or affiliate, I just ride whatever gear I come across that's is a good deal.

Cheers

Not much help and maybe you realise but that's the old model now out of production, new model is imminent but not sure you'll find many who have tried outside Mark...... Have never seen one secondhand but there are a few around and a couple of guys on here who ride them.

Yeah I realise thats the old model, but I want to find out how it goes anyway.....

There is no pics of the 2014 model on their site.

So, feedback? Hows the board?

I've got the 1st model in 135 x 41. I had a 2nd hand Cardboards something? previously and I'm pretty happy with the MJ Comp board I've got now. I can't really say much about them because I have very little to compare them to. Apparently the 1st MJ model isn't the sturdiest board but I'm pretty happy with it so far. I wish I could comment on Pop, flex and what not but like I said I've got no real comparison. What I do know is that this board combined with my Nitro 2 12m gives me pretty insane upwind ability, I have no trouble edging hard and holding that edge into a powered jump.
