Can you fly all Waroos on a standard 4-line bar?

YES, you can. Just a quick Pros and Cons that I have felt whilst trialing different options on this.

Advantages of using a standard 4-line bar

  • Cheaper to buy the kite only package and use your prvious bar
  • creates a very similar feel to a standard "C"

  • Still have the advantages of using the kite in the huge wind range by either adjusting the settings on the kite or bar to suite.
  • Allows you to do traditional grabs and board offs without depowering the kite to much and dropping from a large height.

  • No need to hang onto the bar all the time to keep the power

Disadvantages of using a standard 4-line bar
  • You dont have the safety of complete depower instantly
  • You pretty much have to land the kite and adjust the settings if the wind increases or decreases to much.
  • Its harder to keep the consistency of the kite in strong gusty winds due to the insufuicient sheeting distance that the Waroo bar has. The Waroo bar allows you to instantly depower to allow for gusty winds to help keep a nice edge in the water

I would think that most people who are worried bout flying a bow because of the chance that it might feel different to a "C" now has an option to use a kite that can be used in a massive wind range, but doesnt sacrifice the familiar feel of a "c"kite. These kites perform definately to the same standards as "C"'s, but with added built in advantages.
