Rider: Weight 86kg,Level Intermediate
Style: Freeriding
Weather: 10 to 12 knots
Disclosure: team rider Kite power Qld

My Comments: Took a 17m Slingshot Turbine for a demo today using it with a 144x46 Cardboard in a light north easterly. Wasn't expecting to get much of a ride in at first as the wind was really up and down but ended up having an awesome session with this gear. The kite pulls like a truck once you get going which wasn't that hard on the Cardboard. Bar Pressure is fairly light for a kite that pulls the way it does and it turns reasonably quick for it's size. Re launch was good, similar to a Rally. The bar is the same as the Rally which i ride so felt comfortable with it. I am looking forward to getting some of the other 17m light wind kite's to ride back to back against this kite as i think it will be u there with the best of them.

Hi guys ive ridden the 17mtr turbine, and best taboo 17mtr the turbine had lots of grunt and turns pretty good espicially when using a twin tip, wind range was pretty good, relaunch and stability, were excelent .Where the taboo has less bar pressure (but less grunt) still super stable turns slightly faster and definately unhooks better, didnt seem to reluanch as well but had great wind range. Both kites will get you going in super light conditions .
Hope this helps
George
