Rider: 70kg, intermediate - advanced
Style: Freestyle, Freeriding
Weather: 20+ knots lots of chop

Tried the Slingshot Misfit 130 on the weekend!
at first was a bit reluctant to, it felt a bit too heavy, but F***! it was the best board i have ever ridden!
it was smooth even due to the choppy conditions, had a huge amount of pop .. its hard to explain it! anyways ordered mine today and am praying it will ge there before the next seabreeze!

Was it the 09 with same build as last years lunacy or the 08. I tried the 08 on the weekend and loved it even though it was a bit big at 136 but was a great freestyle board poped nice and smooth great in chop and stable on the landings. if this years keeps the same qualities but built like the lunacy it would be one of the best and strongest board on the market for freestyle.

I would love one but it would be hard to give up the lunacy which is so agresive

I rode the '06 Board and loved it , so light on the water and a great board for flat water, you can really work the board on the water, but how does it handle chop???

Board is simliar wake construction to the Lunacy, but alot lighter with the same strength..
I didn't ride the 130 misfit as was a little small for me, But Ilove the graphics sickest looking board.. I rode the sx 137 and couldn't believe how small and light it felt under foot..

It felt a bit heavier then my 06' Underground FLX 132 and Cabrinha Custom 07 138 (not 100% sure about the size of the custom).

yeah! it ripped upwind! even in the chop it had great edge upwind!

im about the same weight as you, a bit taller though and thats the size i tried and it felt perfect!

hope this helps mate! but i reckon the only way to know for sure is contact your local store and give it a go!
